U.S. Department Of Commerce Launches First-Ever Instagram Account For Cabinet Secretary

Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker Also Has New, Corresponding Twitter Handle

The U.S. Department of Commerce today launched an Instagram account for Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, making her the first-ever Cabinet official to have an Instagram account. The account will be directly tied to the Department’s Facebook page.

The Instagram account will give followers a behind-the-scenes look at Secretary Pritzker’s daily life as a Cabinet Secretary.

The launch is part of Commerce Department efforts to increase digital engagement with consumers, businesses, and other stakeholders through 21^stcentury technology.
