U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker today issued a statement on the 13th anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001.

“Today, we remember and honor those Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. As we observe the 13thanniversary of that terrible day, I encourage everyone to thank our brave first responders, military and others who work tirelessly to keep our communities and country safe. They deserve our sincerest appreciation for their commitment to upholding the values that make our nation great.”
