Nina Vaca’s PAGE Signature Initiative is working with the National Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) to link resources including mentorship and funding opportunities for than 9 million women-owned businesses across the country. Additionally, Nina has developed her “At the Table” initiative at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation, which leverages networks and resources to help women entrepreneurs scale their companies.

In May 2014, Nina joined Secretary Pritzker on a trade mission to Ghana along with 20 American business delegates. Nina met with local African business leaders at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) and Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED), where she mentored entrepreneurs-in-training.

Nina Vaca’s reputation as an entrepreneur, a philanthropist and women’s advocate is known around the world. Her passion for advancing women as executives, business owners and board member extends to all areas of her life. She has inspired entrepreneurs – from the U.S., to Rwanda, Afghanistan, and Ghana – with access to business leaders and knowledge. She has propelled aspiring Latinas with scholarships, mentored women business owners, and filled the C-suite of her own company with exemplary women.

As a business leader and entrepreneur, she is the Chairman & CEO of Pinnacle Group of companies, one of the largest and fastest-growing IT workforce solutions firms in the United States, with thousands of employees and a global reach into more than 60 countries.  Throughout time, Pinnacle has won more than 70 awards for business excellence. She is the winner of the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, was elected to its entrepreneurial Hall of Fame, and was inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum. Previously, Fast Company Magazine named her among its 25 Top Women Builders, Goldman Sachs has called her one of the country’s most intriguing entrepreneurs, NBC has called her an innovator and she been named one of the most influential Latinos in the United States for nine straight years.

Because of her global vision and business acumen, she has been elected to the corporate boards of Comerica Bank, Kohl’s Corp and Cinemark Inc. Her philanthropic work focuses on the empowerment and development of American business. She continues those efforts now as Chairman of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, on behalf of 3.2 million American businesses – and spearheaded the At the Table initiative which ensures women entrepreneurs and business professionals are receiving the much needed resources and influence to propel them to higher levels of success in their careers.

This year, Vaca become part of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows, from the Aspen Institute, a new generation of leaders to positively impact society. And in 2015, her company, Pinnacle Group, was named, the fastest-growing woman owned firm…in the country by the Women Presidents’ Organization . . . and one of the top companies on the Impact 50,” Inc. Magazine’s list of 50 highest-growth companies on the Inc. 5000 led by a woman.
