
Rich Barton’s PAGE Signature Initiative will be to work with Mexican tech entrepreneurs through the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) program and the Mexican-US Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council (MUSEIC) by evaluating business plans and judging pitch competitions.

Rich Barton (official biography) is an entrepreneur and investor with a knack for disrupting and transforming industries. Rich founded Expedia inside Microsoft at 26, assembled the original Expedia team then spun out the company in a successful IPO in 1999, serving as president, CEO and board director through the company’s acquisition by IAC Corp in 2003. In 2005, he co-founded Zillow, which went public in 2011 and is now the largest real estate marketplace in the U.S. He served as Zillow CEO until 2009 and remains Executive Chairman. Rich is also co-founder and non-executive chairman of Glassdoor, one of the largest job listings sites in the world that also offers a unique inside look at jobs and companies through user-generated content collected from employees and jobseekers in more than 190 countries. In addition, he is co-founder and non-executive chairman of Trover, a mobile app helping people find and share their “discoveries” around the world.
