Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research (CCEHBR)
As one of NOAA's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS), the mission of the Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research (CCEHBR) is to conduct integrated environmental research and develop diagnostic tools to measure the health of coastal ecosystems. The center conducts basic and applied environmental research that is transcended into effective outreach to research partners, constituent groups and stakeholders through a number of diverse mechanisms to address issues of coastal zone and environmental management. CCEHBR links and integrates basic research and applied science to problem solving to develop information products used to protect natural resources, public and ecosystem health.
