NCEI Southern Region Climate Services

NOAA/NCEI's Southern Regional Climate Services program provides the data, tools, and information that helps private and public sector constituents in the South reduce their risk and improve their resiliency to the impacts of climate variability and change. The Southern United States is one of the most climate-sensitive areas of the nation. Extreme weather events, significant droughts, and rising sea levels are but a few examples of the challenges that communities are responding to across the region.

Dr. David Brown is the Regional Climate Services Director for NOAA’s Southern Region, based in Fort Worth, Texas.
