The NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (formerly Northeast Regional Office), manages living marine resources and their habitats over approximately 100,000 square miles of the northwest Atlantic Ocean. The region encompasses the eastern seaboard from Cape Hatteras, through Maine, including the bays, estuaries, and rivers that support nursery and feeding grounds for a rich diversity of sea life.
