When we started the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE) initiative almost two years ago, we knew that our success would come as a result of powerful partnerships.   In November, the hit American TV series Shark Tank illustrated the power of partnerships when it featured PAGE, and Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship Daymond John in a segment on the show.

The PAGE initiative is built on partnerships across government, (between the White House, the Commerce and State Departments, USAID and SBA) and most importantly, partnerships with the private sector through 17 dynamic, successful entrepreneurs and an ecosystem of organizations they work with. 

Our mission at PAGE is to reach more people in more places to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.  While the PAGE initiative itself does not invest directly in entrepreneurs, we aim to use our platform to lift up good ideas, and create opportunities for entrepreneurs to access capital, education and mentorship.  When more than 6 million people tuned in across America to watch this episode of Shark Tank, they got to meet entrepreneurs from across the country and around the world that are developing commercial solutions to big challenges. 

Through PAGE, we seek to do this every day, and as we continue to grow, we look for more opportunities to lift up the next great business creators through powerful partnerships.
