The Obama Administration stands committed to providing students at every level with the skills they need to excel in the high-paid, highly-rewarding fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

At the Commerce Department, the US Patent & Trademark Office “All in STEM” initiative encourages women at all stages – from girls to entrepreneurs – to pursue STEM degrees and work in STEM careers.  The USPTO also holds an annual National Summer Teacher Institute that brings together teachers from across the country to learn how to incorporate STEM and intellectual property concepts into their lesson plans.
